Welcome to the world of textile hemp!

I am passionate about industrial hemp and its myriad possible uses, but what I am most passionate about is its fibre for the creation of fine, eco-sustainable, breathable, antibacterial and above all transversal fabrics. In fact, hemp fabrics can find applications in many fields but above all they can replace synthetic fabrics, widely present nowadays, which not only are produced with a very polluting cycle that uses non-renewable raw materials, but also present a problem of disposal as they are not biodegradable in nature.

I therefore believe that it is important to share the benefits of this very special and ancient fabric, which unfortunately due to a long prohibition that was extended almost all over the planet, so even the de facto one that does not contain the psychoactive principles, has led to the loss of valuable knowledge about its processing.

Indeed, much knowledge of the plant, expertise on its processing and textile sectors of use has been lost in recent decades, and with this magazine, I hope to be able to make my contribution in rediscovering it. For this reason, I will tell you about the thousand past and future faces of textile hemp: its history, processing, spinning, fabric creation, packaging, final comfort once worn, little water once washed, its recycling, but also and above all its rebirth through innovative products and yarns, new uses for the fabric, trade fairs and people who are working every day to revive this wonderful plant also in the textile side.
